Boat is slip

...install Boatsonic and count the savings!

Guaranteed to work!

The Boatsonic anti-fouling system's performance will convince even hardened sceptics with significant cost savings adjudged over as little as a one year period (compared to yearly slippage and conventional antifoul paint treatments)

After the first year the savings grow and grow!

Like many hi-tech devices, ultrasonic transmitters used in marine anti-foul have improved significantly since their commercial inception in Belgium and the USA in the 1980s.

The earlier versions of ultrasonic auto-fouling systems were restricted by limitations of transducer technology which only produced a narrow band of output pulses.

The new Boatsonic system direct from Belgium uses the latest digital technology which produces a far wider range of output pulses resulting in a significant improvement in effectiveness.

How it works?

Ultrasonic anti-fouling involves stopping the formation of biofilm on a boats submerged hull.

The ultrasonic waves are transmitted through the hull and actually kill the bacteria which are attracted to the smooth boat hull.

By restricting the embedding of the first microscopic layer (the biofilm) on the ship's hull - the next stages of boat bottom growth, typically algae and then higher level marine crustaceans (barnacles, molluscs, limpet, etc.) do not affix because their food supply is non-existent.

The ultrasonic anti-fouling system transfers the vibrations via the transmitter/transducer through the hull to the outside skin of the hull.

The frequency of vibration kills a certain variety of microscopic marine life that affix to suitable surfaces that are submerged in water i.e. boat hulls.

This initial layer of marine life (called the biofilm or slime layer) is what the larger more complex marine organisms feed off.

The ultrasonic anti-foul system ensures there an no longer any living microscopic organisms for the larger marine molluscs to live off and they do not affix to the boat hull under ultrasonic treatment.
